The ‘How good is your home and your local place?’ activities informed the decision to join KNH together with wider council services. Participants said very clearly that you want to live in a home that’s well cared for, in an attractive neighbourhood which is a safe place to live. The housing services participants said are most important are: repairs and improvements to homes, estate management and environmental maintenance.
Based on what you said, we’re exploring new and improved ways of listening to and involving tenants and leaseholders. This includes ways of hearing from younger tenants, those from different communities and places, children of tenants and young families.
We also learned a lot more from our participants – about all aspect of living in a local place. You told us about what matters to you, what life has been like this year, and what changes you’d like to see where you live. We’ll use what we learned to work with you (and others) to improve your housing services and our local places.
Participants shared a huge amount of information. To make it easier for everyone to learn what tenants and leaseholders said, we’ve created some summaries of the results. You can have a look at these (and all the comments) now on the How Good Is Our Place? blog:
