This means that we are well on the journey to becoming an inclusive employer. Darren Wilson, Safeguarding and Equalities Team Leader, put together our submission and was able to show lots of positive ways in which we had engaged staff around diversity and inclusion and some fabulous initiatives such as our work around mental health and the general health and wellbeing of our staff.

There were also good examples of how we have attempted to encourage young people to join our organisations and that we had a good understanding of our gender pay gap that was leading to positive action to promote career development amongst our female colleagues.
